Love Has no Reason- Julie Born Schwartz (2014)
Video installation. 

I worked on the Sound Design, Editing and Mixing as well as offering the artist consultancy on the installation of the piece at the Royal Academy gallery.

This piece was the first video purchased by the Royal Academy (London, UK) into their collection.

 

Undersong (Joshua Bilton, 2016) - Recording, Sound design and Mixing

 

Commissioned by SPACE in London, this work involved working with the artist on all stages of the creative process from Field Recording on Location in Portland (UK) to Sound Design, Mixing and Tailoring the sound for the gallery.

 

               Ectopia- Life/Section (2017) - Recording Engineer. Released by Wysing Polyphonic (UK)

For this project I set up a studio from scratch in the English countryside near Cambridge to record the first album of a brand new imprint connecte dto the Wysing Arts Centre.


             Ectopia are agroup of artists and musicians working with experimental music. Check them out.

 

Little Stitches (Arcola Theater- London, 2014) 

    Theater play staged at the Arcola Theater in London. I did Field Recording, Sound Design and Mixing for this work continuing a close partnership with the director Alex Crampton.

Brazil (Edingburgh Fringe Festival, 2016) 

    Presented at the Fringe Edinburgh Theater Festival, this work involved music composition and Sound Design.
This play had an international life being also staged at the United Solo Theater Festival in New York.

Over the Holiday period (2017) I ran a music production course in Nørrebro, CPH where the students learned to record and produce songs that the students wrote themselves. It was great to see them be bitten by the music production bug! 

 

The Core of I.L (Sidsel Christensen, 2017) is a sound installation and performance using an 8.1 speaker setup to create an immersive environment where sound becomes a character in the story being told. Presented in October 2017 at Kunsthall Stavanger, Norway.

 

Lately, I've been teaching Max/Msp to some rather savvy kids in Denmark. They have learned to code their own VJ software that uses sound as a controller to affect both playback and effects. The course was intensive and they made great progress in a short period of time. Great fun!
